Human Joist 10 Posted July 18, 2012 Cheers mate. Take it they come with all bits required and just bin originals or do I need to break them down for parts. Also I take it from the fact there are no moans from buyers that everyone is real happy with these once fitted.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted July 18, 2012 Yep, just replace the tired old rubber inserts with the fresh poly ones and the metal disc as required. I took feedback from the first group buy of the rear mount adding a touch of cabin vibration at idle, which I agreed with and softened the mount slightly. Since that everyone seems happy :)

Human Joist 10 Posted August 9, 2012 Mind just arrived. Cheers dude. Just wondered I take it the rear smaller polly is the yellow one which is softer?
Jim Bowen 1 Posted August 9, 2012 Yellow should go on the front mount iirc, it better do as thats how i've done it
skid 1 Posted August 9, 2012 Got mine, Thanks Jay. Got stuck right in to fit them and i started on the front one........................which i spent ages trying to figure out how it assembled, until i relised that it was not an original mount i was try to fit it into. It was already upgraded to a Vibratech mount by the previous owner.......DoH! Hoping the rear one wasnt changed out i continued on it, lucky for me it was standard fitment but it did look very fresh and prob been changed recently, But at least i could replace it with Jay`s upgrade. I now have a spare front one, which i wonder if i should sell on or replace the used vibratech one fitted???? Thanks Jay for them anyway.
Pete 0 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Am I the only one but I'm getting mega vibration at idle. The glove box and undertray rattles it's really bad...??? I think it could be down to my idle speed which at 600rpm-ish seems low (car has AMD map). Anyone know what the correct idle it? Edited August 16, 2012 by Pete
24V Renshaw 0 Posted August 17, 2012 Have you replaced the gearbox mount too? If its too much for you just swap the lower rear mount out for a factory one. Jay
Jim Bowen 1 Posted August 17, 2012 Not had my engine running yet, but got them all fitted. I like a bit of vibration, helps my dinner go down :)
Pete 0 Posted August 17, 2012 I did them all, the rear is a rubber g60 mount. I think I need to up the idle a little bit as an extra 100rpm on the throttle sorts it. Still much rather this than he kangaroo ride I has before!
