Wanted : info or metal wire clips for Recaro seat bases

Anyone know if you can get the metal wire clips for the seat base on Recaro's

Alternatively anyone with some spare??

 

Previously i have welded them back together to get me out of trouble but a few of them are past that idea..

87 Jetta 16v had some recaro spares on the bay. Not sure if it included these but worth contacting him.

With the mounting frame removed this is visable

Holds the fabric diaphragm to the seat base frame

I reckon those clips should be fairly easy to make with done think wire like a coat hanger, some tin snips. And then pliers and some shaped wood to bend it around to make the shape. It might not look 100pc but should do the job in a pinch and won't be visible.

as far as i can tell from ETKA these parts are universal for all front seats on corrados and MK2s (probably more)... Part Number: N 0152611 or 867885447

 

I would check with the dealers or get down to a scrappy and go pillaging

Top man, i will ring stealers tuesday if i have no luck. Can anyone confirm this about being the same as std seats - sorry to double question it but my local stealers got rid of the knowledgeable guys and replaced them with the numpties..

ETKA lists the same seat base for both types of seat then has a different back rest for the recaro ones

They are not on standard bases for definite, they are recaro only. But the good news is they are found in loads of recaro's from the same time, so ford fiesta, escorts, sierra, mk2 golf, manta, astra etc- all the ones with removable subframes.

Hi mate, just wanted to add my 2ps worth here.. The base of them seats looks exactly the same as my escort Rs turbo recaros, so have a look on eBay etc as theres plenty out there!! I have some seats and can send you a picture with clip lengths etc, but sorry seats are for sale so can't separate!! :-(
