mookie 0 Posted May 21, 2012 As in the title really. My rear door cards aren't playing nice and sitting as they should. I've ordered a bag full of the round push in clips that go along the top and side, but should there be clips of some kind along the edge of the window rubber too? I'm sure my Mk2 Golf had them and the door card latched over them before it then was attached else where to the body of the car - just curious if the Corrado is supposed to have something similar? My rubbers have no such clips along the rubber strips... although I have new trim clips coming, I'm not confident they'll hold the car flush along the top edge. Supercharged 2 Posted May 21, 2012 No - don't worry, the new clips make a huge difference, they are really only meant to be used once!
mookie 0 Posted May 21, 2012 Ah right brilliant, thanks! some of the interior looks like it has been removed to install the stereo wiring... and not replaced very well. Which drives me mad as I hate half-arsed stuff like that!
Corradochris16v 10 Posted May 24, 2012 Where abouts did you get the clips from? My cards are the same and look pants!
tbvr6 0 Posted May 24, 2012 I bought 25 on eBay for £3.95 and they were fine. This is the current item number 300697298620. There may well be cheaper options, but happy with these ones. Makes a huge difference fittings new ones.
