ninja_motors 10 Posted June 10, 2012 Hi all I am just in the process of removing the engine from my 94 Vr due to it being knackered, I have just bought a complete 1997 Golf Vr and was going to transplant everything across, both engines are coilpack type, just wondered if there is anything I need to be aware of as have heard a few things about obd1 and 2 but not sure if this will affect me as both are coilpack is that corroect? Thanks in advance..
KADVR6 0 Posted June 10, 2012 just use your corrado inlet manifold and throttle body and you will be fine

ninja_motors 10 Posted June 11, 2012 Picked up the donor car this morning all seems good and I should be able to break the rest to make the engine/box free...
ninja_motors 10 Posted September 9, 2012 Ok well progress is a little slower than hoped but now have both engines out ready for the swap, noticed the wiring for the plug on the throttle body is different is there an easy way round this or do I need to change the engine loom as well? Cheers
ninja_motors 10 Posted September 10, 2012 Well have decided to change the engine loom as surely got to be better as then all the wiring will match..
