chris_coupe,vrstorm 0 Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) VR6 | Blue | Central Scotland Price: £2,100Description: Corrado VR6 storm Unfortunately the time has come for me to sell my much loved Corrado VR6 storm. I have owned the car since October 2004. It has currently done approx 124,000 miles. 1 months tax and MOT’d till October 2012. I have used the car almost every day to travel to work which is only about 3 miles away and it has never let me down. I have made a few modifications from the standards storm spec but there is nothing that can not be put back to original if you wish. Sale does not include number plate or I.C.E. Modifications from standard: • 17” Alloy wheels (I still have the original BBS alloy wheels which would require refurbishment. I have a compete set of new original BBS wheel centres) • Rear lights replaced with lighter/clearer version. (I still have the original lights which can be re-fitted) • Clear side indicator repeaters fitted. (I still have the original indicators that can be re-fitted • K&N induction kit fitted. • Stainless Steel Milnex exhaust system fitted. • Vibra technics front engine mount. Service History: Since I have owned the car I have done all the servicing and repairs myself. The previous owner had a full service history carried out. I change the engine oil once a year with semi-synthetic oil and carry out repairs as an when required. Recent Work Done(within the last year): • New coil over suspension fitted front and rear (30% up-rated suspension) • Replace rear torsion beam bushes • New heater matrix fitted • Replaced front radiator • New head gasket fitted as it was suspected that it blown. Turns out loss of water was due to leaking radiator. New timing chain guide fitted. • Front discs and pads replaced. • Rear wheel bearings replaced. • Two front ABS sensors replaced, O/S rear sensor replaced • Both door handle levers replaced with steel. Good Points: • I have used the car almost everyday and it had never failed to start • I drives well and still goes like hell when you put the foot down. Bad Points: • There is a little rust starting around the wheel arches, boot and passengers sill (see attached pictures) • The driver heated seat is intermittent. • Slight water leak from thermostat housing which requires water to be topped up every few weeks • Security • Thatcham approved alarm with total enclosure Please contact me if you have any questions or want to see more pictures.
