think i wrecked my ecu

just finnished my rebuilding my g-lader and now my car wont start exchange't the original chip for another one but that one was broken(didnt start at all)so i put the original one back in

first it ran on tree cilinders then i towed it to a friend of mine cuos he has a better garage to work in.

then the car only ran on two cilinders and now it won't run at all....

the spark plugs spark and there is a smell of gas

 

btw it is a 1.8 g60

Dude if it ran at all even on 2 cylinders, I wouldn't say your ECU is gone. If you get sparks and fuel, even in the wrong amounts and timing.I think you can get this to run again.

 

Make sure you have no air leaks and all vac pipes are on correctly. Especially the 2 on the TB. The top pipe goes to the ECU.

 

Check all the engine earth wires. The ones on the side of the head to the water outlet bolt are favourites for corrosion.

 

The Lamdba probe is another thing that can have drastic effects if not working correctly.
