Butterfly 0 Posted August 11, 2012 For the last month or so my 8v sunroof has been a bit flaky. I've swapped the switch/light unit itself with Kips and its definietly not that at fault. When it does work it tilts & slides beautifully, no sluggishness or juddering etc but when it wont work it wont work!!! The switch unit clicks (and as said has been swapped for one that is 100% so it is not that) and I think I can hear the sunroof motor itself clicking but nothing happens 25% of the time. I've twice had to wind it shut by allen key and once sat in the car for 5 minutues willing it to work and eventually it did. Any ideas on why it might be OK 75% of the time then throw a wobbly 25%?
