After 2 and a half years of thoroughly enjoyable ownership of this classic VW, I unfortunately have to put this lovely Ive Grey Violet example up for sale. I originally planned to keep this for good (hence the amount of money I have spent on it) but my girlfriend has passed her test and we need a car that both of us can use so this has to go to a good home. A majority of my mileage has been 400 mile round trips from London to Liverpool. This car has never let me down except for a dodgy battery (replaced), faulty ignition switch (replaced) and a blown cylinder head (all fixed to a high standard). It is surprising how reliable this car has been and how refined it is. This Corrado is pretty much fully loaded and benefits from never having the suspension or engine modified. This is the ideal car for somebody who likes the original looks or as a blank canvas to modify. This car has had 3 previous owners before me and comes with a stacked folder including original adverts for previous buyers. It has a really good history and the guy I bought it from looked after it well too. The original book is included in the sale too. The car has done 153,500 miles but has been more than looked after… had timing chains done, new clutch and recently had the head gasket replaced including a head skim. The car is taxed until the end of September. It recently sailed through an MOT so this is valid until July 26th 2013. This car benefits from: -Full heated black leather (It had a recolour a couple of years ago so it looks brilliant and all heating elements work) -Electric windows -Electric spoiler (works automatically at 60mph and with button) -Electric sunroof (tilts and slides) -Electric wing mirrors (slightly noisy but in full working order) -Great rare colour - as far as I know this colour was only available for a year so this is a rare colour on an already rare car -First aid kit still sealed under the rear armrest -Jetex exhaust (as close to standard as possible, nice but quiet noise and won't rust!) -Upgraded brakes (mk3 vr6 front and mk4 rear) - original brakes are really bad -Sony CD player can play from a memory stick or via bluetooth -Handsfree phone connect through the Sony headset -Previous owner had a blow over respray so the finish is still bright and shiny -Newly reconditioned standard alloys with centre caps -Genuine original Corrado floor mats (rare these days) P1010253 by jonty oconnor, on Flickr P1010250 by jonty oconnor, on Flickr P1010241 by jonty oconnor, on Flickr P1010254 by jonty oconnor, on Flickr Here's a history of my ownership.
