bristolbaron 11 Posted August 21, 2012 I am looking for some advice from someone that knows about the inner workings of the internets. My stepfather has a very badly designed website and has zero interest or time for updating it. My wife uses a Weebly site, which is basic, but free to use and very easy to update. I've shown him how he could use this instead and he's happy to transfer over. Now the first thing I'm going to hear is 'a proper website is money well spent' etc but for him it really isn't. All he needs is a couple of pages and the ability to change them if he needs to. I'm happy setting the page up for him, but have no idea how I change his domain/host/webpage over from the current host [magento] to Weebly. If anyone knows how to do this I can crack on with it for him. Many thanks Baz :geek:
VR6Pete 0 Posted August 21, 2012 Sounds like you need a CMS and a cheap hosting company. I use HostStuff for my hosting for http://www.vr6oc.com as does this website. And I use e107 as my content management system but there are others such as Wordpress etc.. Nice and easy to setup, update and maintain with little and experience...
