Wanted: Inlet Breather pipe

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Looking for the breather pipe that goes from the Rocker to the Throttle inlet. Looks like someone in the past has bodged it back together and its completely sheared off now. Needed asap. Will need posted to Edinburgh but obviously I'll cover this.

PM me please, I normally forget about these threads :p

Cheers

Keeve

Part number is 021-103-493A and I'm afraid it's obsolete at VW dealers now.

I found this out a couple of weeks ago and after a bit of Googling I found that http://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/shop/ do it.

I had to order via VW Heritage (http://www.vwheritage.com/) who said it would be 2-3 weeks delivery and it cost me about 22 quid inc delivery.

If it's the one for the PCV valve, the OEM ones are terribly fragile as they're made out of corrugated plastic and tend to split along the underside. You'd be better off using some oil-rated hose of the right internal diameter - pence from any decent motor factors.

I just used some nice yellow fuel pipe from a lawn mower shop, although not driven car yet.

Have found one of these at the weekend from my Bro's Supercharger conversion.

Complete in one piece and good condition, will be cleaned up before sale.

£15 + postage.
