dingo 0 Posted September 15, 2012 developed a curious problem with my indicators today, here's the problem: Indicators are normal when ignition is ON and the engine is OFF, but a few second after the engine is switched on the indicator starts to flicker. This happens on both sides. I've checked to see if there any blown bulbs and there isn't. There doesn't seem to be any flickering in any other lights, be it headlight/dash or interior light.. if it makes any difference I'm pretty sure the car has LED indicators all round and I only noticed the problem after replacing HT leads . all opinions/advice appreciated - thanks guys Dave
owen g60 10 Posted September 15, 2012 Sounds very much like an immobiliser/alarm issue. Mine did this after my heater matrix exploded soaking the immobiliser ecu
dingo 0 Posted September 15, 2012 really hope it's not my immobiliser! engine is running fine. thought about it for a bit and now suspicious of the flasher relay.. maybe it's on its way out. does the flickering with the hazard light switch too
