classic 0 Posted October 4, 2012 Hello guys, Can't say i have been on here recently, i have been using my other car (mx5! :D), so the corrado has been standing still. The car in question is a 1991 2.0l 16v, but its from a conversion, so i'm pretty sure its still running the 1.8l KR stuff. It will not start, so i have checked the easiest place first being the ignition side making sure it has a spark. When i removed the HT lead from the coil to the distributor, the lead sparks only once when starting, When put to ground on the cyl head. So i turn the key to start, it sparks once, then will not spark again until i stop cranking it over. I have replaced the coil, the cap (the graphite tip was found missing awhile back when i looked at it), all the leads are fairly new (1yr old silicone jobbies). i'm really getting depressed with it as i do not know what to check now, so i am begging for you guys for help! How can i check the 3 wire hall sensor? on the side of the distributor? As i guess its possible its not getting an engine position and would only fire once? Maybe? Anyhelp would be highly appreciated, i'm in the Yeovil area and would pay good money for someone to even give me a hand! Cheers! Vince
