Rear Wiper Blowing Fuses

Had this happen a few times now - If I turn ignition off when the rear wiper is still going it blows the fuse. Locate fuse position 3 and replace 15A fuse, ignition on - rear wiper all good again. Strange?

 

My initial thoughts are rear wiper motor could be on it's way out.

 

Anyone experienced this before?
