Oldtax 10 Posted December 7, 2012 Hi All. Sorry, been a bit post happy of late! In sourcing part I've become confused! It doesnt take alot. I was looking at parts on europarts today (lambda, clutch kit, CAT, etc) and the prices seem to vary greatly - but i cant see why. how do you know if a part is good value for money? Surely it cant just be more expensive = better. any thoughts to help save the wallet and car would be appreciated.
CazzaVR 0 Posted December 8, 2012 You generally do get what you pay for- oem VW is always best TBH. That said, some aftermarket stuff is good quality. Go for a LUK clutch. Don't use Euro- go to carparts4less instead. Exactly the same company, but a fair bit cheaper ;)
