94 VR6 wont start

Recommended Posts

i bought this car to fix up and drive but has been sitting in garage for sometime (has always started) recently i had it towed to a new place cause it has no brakes (thats what i ordered) and its been stored outside in the cold, the parts i ordered have just come in so i was trying to start it and move it into a garage to work on and now it wont start i have checked all cylinders for a spark and they are fine and have checked out firing order and it is fine there is lots of gas cause the spark plugs were drenched, so it turns over and has fuel and has spark but wont run, so with trying to start it all day the fuel has leaked threw the rings and saturated the oil and washed out cylinder walls, will let it sit for the night and drain the oil and refill and see what happens, has anyone ever seen this before or have a clue of what is wrong, i have a thoery that because everything has frozen up and there was not much fuel in it that what fuel was there could have had some water in it and caused injectors to ice up and just pour fuel in and since it just washed threw the cylinders that maybe compromised compression. any thoughts?

Your best bet would to buy your own inexpensive compression tester, what does the compression sound like? does it turn over really fast? test the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge, and have the injectors serviced or replaced, also check out the distributor timing, message me back with results ;)
