Heated seat module - part number

Recommended Posts

Hi, does anyone have the part number off of a heated seat module or any further information on them? Such as list of internal components/ how the switch operates it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Which part are you after? I have a spare one I can take pics of. I just took a look and the relay number is 59, part number 161 919 533, also with a Siemens number PA6-GF30. The holder for the relays doesn't appear to have any part number on it.

The switch itself is part number 535 963 563 B also with another number on there PA6-GF 15.

The plugs that go into the seats are part number 191 972 723.

I'm still on the lookout for some heated seat elements to retro fit to my current seats :)

Thanks a lot for your help lots of good info there :).

In the wiring diagrams there is a heated seat module...is this encorporated within the relay. I can't seem to find any trace of it anywhere. Any ideas of specs..? Or just part number.

Thanks for your help guys.

I'm guessing it's referring to the relays when it mentions the 'module'. The loom is as follows:

* It plugs into the fuse box. From memory one is a live and one is a switched live so the seats only come on with the ignition.

* Then the loom goes straight to the dashboard switch.

* Then from the switch to the pair of relays (I assume one for each seat) and an earth.

* And finally from the relays on to each of the seats in parallel.

Fusebox --> Dash switches --> Pair of relays --> Seats

Fantastic info :) one final query, can you give me the wire colours that go into each of these relays?

Thanks so much for your help.

Sorry didn't see this last question. I will take a look shortly and come back.

I took some pictures and drew a terrible diagram of the wire colours going into the relays:

Note:

1) Sorry I forgot to draw couple of empty pins on the right hand relay at the top (should be obvious but shout if it isn't and I will draw it again).

2) There is also a brown wire (earth I assume) coming off the loom at the same point but does not go into the relays. This will go to an earthing point.
