IMurSTAR337 0 Posted April 23, 2004 I have a 92 SLC, in need of a rebuild. I had planned to slowly do it over the course of the next year. Do the rings and valves now and later do pistons, cams, and rods. However I was just offered a great deal on a 2.8L 12V bored over to 3.2 with he following Specs: Schrick big valves 42x36mm 7 angle port job JE Nitrous pistons (94mm@ 11:1 CR) ABT 95.6mm crank ABT 268 cams Pauter rods Behr external oil cooler Samco hoses (red) Unorthodox pulley set (3) It is currently in a Corrado and will be going in mine. Is there anything I need to ask about or do to prepare for this engine? For instance mine is a distributor engine and I'm not sure his is, if it's not is that a difficult thing to set up for (ECU, wiring harness). Any other troubles I might run into?
