Jim 2 Posted January 30, 2013 Just wondering how one went about getting the VWM VSR originally. Were they sold as an option when you bought the car at the dealer, or was it something you bought seperately?
Supercharged 2 Posted January 30, 2013 Yeah was an option - Gary had all the paper work etc with his including the price in DM
VWVW 1 Posted January 30, 2013 I prefer the look of the schrick
Hofmiester 10 Posted January 30, 2013 I prefer the look of the schrick Each to their own, VSR keeps the engine looking stock with covers etc which looks better in my view.....not into pimp ;) I'd love to know where mine ended up, it was marked as no
Jim 2 Posted January 30, 2013 Would like to know what they cost. So was a 'tick' option on the options list then? Any idea what years they were available, etc?
Hofmiester 10 Posted January 30, 2013 Would like to know what they cost. So was a 'tick' option on the options list then? Any idea what years they were available, etc? On my old VR6 it had been purchased new from VAG in Germany and added to the car. I think the invoice was for around £1400 plus then it needed to be mapped by AMD at another £500. Gareth192001 10 Posted January 30, 2013 where is the number stamped on them?
Hofmiester 10 Posted January 30, 2013 where is the number stamped on them? It is actually a sticker, it is on the side of the section with VSR text cast in, probably long gone on most by now. Mine was all rough cast apart from the face around the text which i polished by hand. ---------- Post added at 7:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:18 PM ---------- Sticker is just on the front there, to the right of the logo http://www.golf4.de/golf4/101934-vsr-r32.html
