Like you guys im a petrol head have owned my 205 mi16 for 10 years and caddy mk2 for 5, love them both but getting too old for the bean can 205! yes it makes me smile but its had its day so im after something better built safer (so my wife and daughter can come out for a summer drive with me) and more reliable. after doing a bit of work on my trusty caddy i loved how vw have put them together. I worked at a vw dealership (autohaus nothamptonshire) as a first job and remember driver a storm aged 17, it blew me away so looking to get out of the 205 for a more grown up car, so looking to get into the scene (I own the pizza trailer at pod so have loved vw over the years) and buy a special corrado that can be polished and used in the summer.
