manop001 10 Posted February 12, 2013 Help! Noticed the spoiler doesn't raise no more. Tried the over ride switch and no clicking noise like before. Also the fuse is fine - checked that! Weird thing is that the rear wiper don't work too! Every time I press the stalk for rear wiper, nothing happens apart from a little squart of water from the front??? Don't know what's happening! Anyone had this problem? ---------- Post added at 6:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:03 PM ---------- Forgot to mention, this is on a 1989 model... Jim Bowen 1 Posted February 12, 2013 Could be the earth. Think there's a few in the tailgate all clipped onto the mechanism body. If the seal aroubd number plate light is perished it rusts and water gets in the inside of tailgate. That's where I'd look next
manop001 10 Posted February 16, 2013 All wiring checked and in place.. Could it be anything else???
Michael'durham' 10 Posted February 16, 2013 Does the rear number plate lights work,? I'd check the spoiler with someone pressing switch at the front while using a multimeter on the wires at the back, see it it's getting power? Ones not seem right that both have just stopped working at. The same time. You'd think it was a fuse.
