redders 0 Posted April 1, 2013 My kit consists of the following. Havair option 3 struts. The fronts are custom made short struts by havair based on GAZ struts and Firestone double bellows bags finished in chrome, The rears are based on airlift struts and bags with adjustable dampening. The struts are in amazing condition and are now just over a year old, the fronts and rears are painted in hammered silver. Both the front and rear bags have no signs of wear or decomposition what so ever. The lines are a brand new 3/8" lines and all the fittings are brand new stainless steel, and not the usual push fit, these are the clamp down type so no risk of them "popping off" at all! The front struts also use braided leader lines so they can move and flex without worrying about them! The tank in a 3 gallon jobbie and fits lovely in the spare wheels well, allows for 2 full drops and 2 full lifts before the comp kicks in, come with 150 psi pressure switch and water trap. Compressor is a viair 380 and take about 3-4 mins to full from empty. The managment in brand new airlift v2, and is fantastic! I won't go into all it's finer points but allows for 8 presets, rise on start, constant pressure monitoring etc etc take approx 10 mins to install! And then there's the boot build, obviously this will only fit Mk3 golfs, but has been built to an extremely high standard and looks great, retaining all functionality of the boomy while allowing for storage and easy access to work on the system too!
