What the hell!!!!

Recommended Posts

Right guys I need your help. When I bought the car there was not a stereo and this is what I am left with. Do you know what wires go to which speakers?

The list is as follows

Grey & Black x 2

Green & Black x 2

Red

Brown & Red,Black,White & Blue

Blue

Red & Green

Blue & Green

The grey and black seem to go to the back speakers where they are wired to the green & blue and Brown & Red wires on the right. The guy had a set of shelf speakers that are missing as well.

blue/white = Speed sensor feed

brown/red = Ignition live

black = +12v to aerial amplifier (switched feed from head unit)

grey/blue = illumination feed (to turn on head unit illumination when the lights are switched on)

red/white = permanent live

brown = earth

speaker wiring as per this diagram http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/download.php?id=5584

speed sensor wire adjusts the volume on some stereos so that it gets louder as you get faster, and quietens back down as you slow again... :) Kinda cool, but not many stereos support it and too many fitters connect it to the wrong thing which stops the spoiler working! :roll:
