I have power to the switch but I dont know how to by pass the switch to see if the problem is the swich. Can someone help.
dubnut 10 Posted May 12, 2013 take door card off and follow wires from switch to motor. go direct 12v to the wires and if the window works..fault is with module behind rear quarter panel drivers side. mine stopped and after exhaustive fault finding a tap on the module and wiggle of the wires made it work!!!! not ideal mechanics but result was what i wanted ---------- Post added at 7:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 7:08 AM ---------- take door card off and follow wires from switch to motor. go direct 12v to the wires and if the window works..fault is with module behind rear quarter panel drivers side. mine stopped and after exhaustive fault finding a tap on the module and wiggle of the wires made it work!!!! not ideal mechanics but result was what i wanted

My drivers side didnt work for approx 18 months (yes i know i was lazy & i should have looked at it) but then 1 day i think i must have pressed the button harder than i had previously & it started working again :D rather like my sunroof which works perfectly fine when it wants to but then doesnt like tilting when it is being difficult lol i swear these rado's self heal at times ;)
