I have serviced this car myself and have kept a full detailed service history. I change the oil every 5,000 miles and use genuine VW oil filter, I use G12 coolant and VW gear oil. I have all the old MOTs to verify the mileage, lots of receipts. The timing belt has been done recently. The car has a few dents and scrapes but has been an excellent and reliable car. The starter motor has been noisy for many years but has never let me down, hence it has not been replaced. The rear wiper motor on the tailgate does not work. The car is MOT’d until the 28th March 2014 and taxed until the end of June.
