julesz 0 Posted April 15, 2003 Ist it the Mk4 2.0 16v that is 150bhp?
Joe M 0 Posted April 15, 2003 The mk3 golf 16v is definately 150bhp, same engine thats in ibiza cupra sport 16v's. Ive heard that the Corrado 2.0 16v engine is actually a better engine and that by adding the injection system from a mk3 golf the power increases to about 155-160bhp. I dont know why its better, the best person to ask about this would probably be aposegil.
dubboy 0 Posted April 15, 2003 Yep the MK3 Golf has 150 bhp, and Corrado 139 bhp, just like the old 1.8 16V. Heard it was the same engine just detuned for the Corrado, for some strange reason.
