kavsworld 10 Posted July 5, 2013 Sorry to gate crash your forum - my son is a member on this forum but is stuck in belgium on his way to the the Grand Prix. On the auto route in Belgium he ran over a tow hitch (fallen from a car I guess) and this has smashed the fuel pump canister (located under the rear of the car as I understand). The car is in the local vw garage and they can't help with the part so it looks as though it may end up being scrapped which would be a shame as it not a bad car other than this. So the 64 million dollar question is can anyone help with a replacement? I'm in Basingtoke heading up the m3, m25 etc tonight to go and collect him with or without a pump.
