VR6 fusebox plug locations,plug colours and wire colours...

Recommended Posts

Hi, hope someone here can help and I am posting in the right area.

I have just got hold of a corrado vr6 1995 on an M reg.

The big problem is the previous owner has unplugged all the wires and plugs for the engine loom from the fuse bord.

I have looked online/google etc but there seems to be a lot of different awnsers regarding wire/plug colours and location/uses.

could some one put in stupid basic terms what plug goes in which hole?

I have worked out the 3 main white plugs but I have half a dozen left over, some 2 wire and som 1 wire.

could some one not as stupid as me tell me which colour wire with which colour plug goes in which position in the fuse box.

Any pics would be great or just description with location.

Many thanks and save another corrado and an old boy from his dim'nes.:bonk:

Have the wires been disconnected from the plugs?

If not it should be quite easy as the plugs will only fit in the appropriate sockets, here's a some good info to get you started;

http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html

You will have a few wires left over as there's some additional wiring on Corrados. Best have a go and see what you are left with.
