anubis 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Could try the seals around the hatchback window / boot. I had a problem like that in my old Golf, caused by the smallest of damage to the seal.
Henny 0 Posted May 12, 2004 does your rear wash wipe work? If it doesn't then the pipe for the spray has probably split as it goes through the hinge and that will pump water into the boot... :?
Supercharged 2 Posted May 12, 2004 Also check there are none of the blue plastic gromets missing where the 'Corrado' badge clips on...

insomniak 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Have the same problem. Ive traced mine to the badge - clip is damaged and is missing the gromet. First noticed it when I was washing/cleaning the car for the first time. Any suggestions what I could use to seal it?
PhatVR6 0 Posted May 12, 2004 how about a new clip/seal from vw? or failing that, a blob of sikaflex.
Supercharged 2 Posted May 12, 2004 new clips are a few pence each - heat it up first in boiling water else you'll bend the rear panel trying to push it in!
