Jim Bowen 1 Posted August 19, 2013 Noticed this over the last few weeks. When i start the car from car i hear a knocky noise related to engine speed. Found out today if i push the clutch down the noise disappears until i release clutch. Doesn't seem like the whirring i've had from release bearing before. Also goes away after driving a short distance. Could it be gearbox issues? Might try an oil change, i did ask a garage to do it once, but wasn't too sure if they did or not.
