Speedo Issue

Hi guys,

 

The issue is pretty simple to explain.

 

The release bearing went on my gearbox so the gearbox came off to change that along with the clutch and pressure plate. Changed all that and put the gearbox back on like normal.

 

But now the speedo is acting weird, it reads a speed like normal but then goes crazy and will jump up and down like 30mph.

 

My spoiler also went up, i didn't change speed but then the spoiler went down just like that.

 

Also in my engine bay, I've found a wire (spade) that is now just dangling there. I'll get a picture of that tomorrow as its dark now.

 

The car is a 94 VR6 if that helps.

The speedometer drive is a black plastic sensor on the top of the gearbox, so that is the obvious home for your spare connector.
