I want to know if mercedes wheels will fit on the vr6, the ones i want are 8 x 17's and I know I have to have an adaptor to get them to fit on the vr's hub but this is likely to be a minimum 20mm spacer also, which means that in effect the wheels will be more like 9 inches wide, right? PhatVR6 0 Posted May 26, 2004 nope, you cna't do it. to fit a 20mm adapter would mean the wheel would be down to ET10, and for 8x17's that would mean some SERIOUS arch work needed to fit them. You'r best bet is to have you huds redrilled with the merc patern in between you vr6 one. but I think that might mean your ABS sensors will fall off!
