Red=Fast 0 Posted May 19, 2004 blown fuse? when i hooked up my boost guage, i used the power from my horn fuse. that way it has constant power. same deal with my air/fuel one.

Henny 0 Posted May 19, 2004 you may have shorted a wire behind the dials you were trying to fit... it'll be a blue wire with a grey stripe IIRC.... 8) Check your fuse box as well, as I'm pretty sure there is a fuse for these bulbs too...

randal 0 Posted May 20, 2004 it'll be a blue wire with a grey stripe IIRC... I feel a new game coming on... Hey Henny - What colour is 3rd wire from the left on the ECU loom? Sorry couldn't resist, but it's damn impressive you remember all this!
Henny 0 Posted May 20, 2004 most of the wire colours on VWs are standard from car to car, and seeing as I've been messing with VWs for the best part of 13 years, you get to know some of the more common ones... 8) oh, and which row on the ECU connector? ;)
