speedo vacuum pipe

Hi All,

 

I need some help with my speedo and rev counter, on my 20v turbo conversion.

 

Basically when I bought the car the none of these were working.

 

When I have stripped everything back, I noticed the pin connector was connected, but the vacuum pipe is not connected and cannot see a vacuum pipe.

 

So basically I want to connect the vacuum pipe, but don't know where the other end will go, can someone shed some light on this for me please.

i would have thought the inlet manifold it must work on the vacuum caused by the engine?

Vac pipe is for mpg calculation and is inlet manifold vac

On my G60 the pipe goes to a tee in the brake servo vacuum pipe near the manifold & measures boost etc.

Oh excellent guys cheers, so this will not rectify the speedo and tacho not working then? What would cause the tacho and speedo not to work, the clocks have got a electronic connection at the back of it?
