I ended up swapping them out for mk3 ones, but not sure if i have fitted right, i followed a guide on the net, but doesnt seem right, i took the strut out and top mount off, dropped the bearing on first and then the top mount, but the nut that was on the strut just went through the mount, and the bearing didnt mount when nipped up so ended up having to invert thr bearing put it back together in the car, runs smooth and right, but when i dropped it back to the car, normally when you turn the wheels the top plate turns, now it just kind of tilts as the wheels turn

Help!?

is the mk3 mount the same style as the early Corrado, or is it the mk4 (separate bearing and rubber) type, you can't fit mk4/VR6 type two piece mounts to early spring plates, you need to change the top spring plate and make sure it has the matching diameter for the spring tops you have (there's a couple of sizes)

the corrado is running early plates and two piece rubbers and running fine with the bearing upside down, but i have found a pair of plates, would this be the right ones to go for? as it says from 96, and i followed a guide and it said you can use either mk2 or mk3 plates with the vr parts
