Audioscape Door Pods

Recommended Posts

I bought an early set from someone on here a couple of years ago.

Was going to convert them to late spec, but never got the chance.

They've got 6.5" speakers and tweeters, although I've not tested them.

There's a few scuffs here and there, and the MDF could do with some re-gluing.

I think they are grey, will have to double check.

Might be willing to sell, if I get what I paid for them :)

Cost me £140 delivered, so don't really want to take less than that.

Hi, pics attached.

The pods are grey, and the speakers are 150W Alpine SXS-1757.

The driver's side pod doesn't need any gluing, and there's no big scuffs.

I've added some close ups of the passenger side, there's a few scuffs, but nothing major.

The MDF seems to have come away by a couple of millimeters, so could do with some gluing.

It doesn't actually affect the structure at all, you could mount them as they are, they aren't going to fall apart :)

You probably wouldn't even see it once it's on the doors.

I guess it depends how fussy you are really, as I personally would glue them and give them a lick of paint.

If you're interested, I'd take £125 collected, or £140 delivered :)

(I'm near the A406 / M11)

Cheers,

George

Hi George sorry for the slow reply, they don't look too bad to me what we need to remember these are 15+ years old so they never are going be brand new. I think I could fix them up and get them re trimmed in vynal. I work nights in Poplar I could come and pick them up one morning after work or before work as I start at 23:00. It will have to be next week though if that's ok? My mobile is 07900 971922

Hi Sean,

Thanks for the reply, collection anytime next week should be fine - I've got the week off :)

I'll text you my details tomorrow, so you can arrange to pick them up.

Thanks,

George
