Kajeeba1 0 Posted May 25, 2004 Hi Guys Posted message on Saturday about my car stalling immediately after firing. With many people help found out it is fuse no. 16 that needed replacing - replaced this with another 15A fuse but it blew straight away - tried 20A which helped me go for a drive - after parking up the fuse went again! I did notice that the spoiler has a problem going back down - could this be the problem which is making the fuse blow or is it something to do with the immobiliser which uses the same fuse Thanks again for any help Iain
Guest Posted May 25, 2004 sounds like an earthing problem. Somethings either shorting, or somethings drawing to much current, might be the spoiler is jammed, and therefore the motor is straining to lower it? I wouldn't just replace the fuse with a higher value one, or you might damage something, 20As is quite a lot of current
Kajeeba1 0 Posted May 25, 2004 Do u think that greasing the spoiler may stop it from struggling? If so how do i get to it? Cheers for the help Iain
