jamest 0 Posted May 26, 2004 firstly, its my last ever uni exam tmrw! had one today and last one tmrw so hurrah!!! secondly, ive just fitted a semidecent head unit to my rado! I was wondering if anyone knew how to have it so that the ignition does not need to be on to have the stereo on? :?: did it in my mk2 golf but cannot remember!! i think it is a case of wiring the yellow to the red or something, but my head is too full of air-pollution mechanics to remember... thirdly, had a race with a WRX few days ago and kept up with him till 75ish then started to pull away... and last of all ive seen the stealth turbo conversion for a vr and its nearly my birthday.... :D cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Richie_FSOB 0 Posted May 26, 2004 Yep, for constant power to the stereo, just wire up the red and yellow wires from your head unit to the constant 12v feed from the battery. Simple really, but dont forget to turn it off when you get out!! :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
