Busted speakers

Recommended Posts

i got these fantastic old alpines in a new parcle shelf. the problem is that one is bust. there is tiny tear in the soft part of the cone at the edge and the whole cone wont move untill you turn it up really loud but then it just makes a horrible noise. the other cone moves freely and smoothly but this one kind of grinds (not the right word but can think) when you move it by hand.

anyway is it possible to fix??????

cheers

some people fix subs like that with fibreglass.... for all the price of speakers anyway, might aswel replace em. probably sound better than old ones too :)
