yalan 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Since that VAG.COM post below - it has renewed my interest in piulling these codes... Does anyone have the procedure for pulling the codes using an LED? I can find plenty of info for doing this for other VAG cars with 3x2 connectors but nothing for our 2x2 setups.... Can anyone help? Need to know which pins to use & how to start / reset the sequence. Cheers!
Youngsyt 0 Posted June 13, 2004 Haynes produce a manual covering systems for a number of car manufacturers including VWs. The manual provides details for the VW with the 2x2 connectors. However the manual only talks about pulling codes from the ECU not the ABS system. I don't think it's possible to pull the ECU codes on a G60. My understanding is that it may be possible to pull codes from the ABS unit on the G60 Corrado ( that's what I'm interested in doing ). I would dearly love to get to the bottom of this so that I don't have to have the codes read by a dealer machine. I'll try and scan the relevant pages from the Haynes manual.
