Corrado G60 front spotlights???HELP???

Recommended Posts

Hi peeps,

how do you get the front spotlights in the bumper to work? is there a fuse or something for them as i have checked the bulbs and they are fine, but the lights just will not work.

Also how many switch's are supposed to be on the dash for extras. Currently where the 4 slots are for the switch's. i have first from the top as rear fog lights switch, under that the heated rear screen switch, underneath that there is a blanking plastic plate that has an unleaded fuel sign on it, and under that there is an empty space. Its a 1991 rado g60, any ideas? or even pics? so i can put it right

cheers guys :(

You have the right number of buttons, A Two stage fog light button push it in once for front fogs push it in again for rear fog lights too. and a heated rear screen button. would not have any more unless you have heated seats or aircon.

or ABS... ;)

(the ABS light normally lives in the top position out of these 4 if you have ABS fitted)

so how do i cover the blank space i have?? and when i press the switch once for the fogs the front bumper spotlights still don't work. Also when you press the fog light switch once the switch doesn't illuminate, however if i press it again the for the second phase, the rear foglights come on and the switch is illuminated in orange, but no illumination comes on when you press it down the 1st time??

could the switch be faulty, or is there a fuse for the front spotlights? Also how can i check that i have all the right amp fuses in my fusebox? wanna make sure theres a 10amp where its supposed to be and not a 5amp item, and so on so forth.

cheers again peeps :)

the fog lamp switch on a Corrado only lights up to warn when the REAR fog is on... there is no indication to tell you that the front fogs are on... :?

I have no idea why VW decided to do this, as it's sodding annoying to get pulled over 'cos you're on sides and fogs and didn't know about it... It's only happened to me once, but the copper who pulled me had a look at the switch and believed me that I wasn't doing it on purpose and let me off... :D he commented what a crap design it was for such a nice car! :D 8)
