Door Handle Protector Plates

Hi All

 

The door skin around the driver's door handle on my Corrado has been damaged by an

attempted break-in. Following a similar occurrence some years ago on a Mark 2 Golf,

I was able to cover the damage by fitting "Armor" door plates from C & R Enterprises.

 

C & R tell me that they don't make such plates for Corrados.

 

Do any of you know anyone that does?

 

Or, can the C & R plates for a Golf, say, be modified to fit a Corrado? (I'm more

interested in the cosmetic aspects, rather than security)

I think they were available at one time not sure if they still are now however.
