SamG40 0 Posted October 26, 2014 I will try to be as concise as I can on this one but it is a bit complicated. I've tried searching but can't find anything similar. Car is a 94 vr and its an auto too if that makes any difference to the wires in the pictures. Up until recently everything was hunky dory with alarm and central locking working as they should. The car has a cobra alarm fitted which no longer responds using the fob and it no longer immobilises. The red light that used to flash when the immobiliser kicked in now comes on solid when the ignition is on (engine off). If I try to lock the doors the central locking is non operational. After I disconnect the battery or turn the ignition on and off a few times (this is random so inconclusive) and then push down the drivers door pin the pump will work and the passenger door will lock. After that it won't unlock or lock again and the pump does nothing. I've got delocked handles so I don't know what it does on the key but I've got voltage at the three pin plug on the drivers door at least on the plug that the handle normally plugs into. I'm not sure whether this is a c/l issue or an alarm issue, I'm assuming one is affecting the other as both stopped working at the same time but I'm not sure which one is the problem. Below is a picture of various wires that aren't plugged into anything. To note the car also has the diavia aircon fitted and I think some of them are to do with that. Going clockwise from the top there is a yellow plug with a yellow/black wire coming out of it, red plug with black/red wire and then coming out of the various fuses are two red wires one with the blue plug on the end and one is just taped up. Any help with either wire identification or the alarm c/l issue is most appreciated.
