DPS 10 Posted November 16, 2014 I found this in a bag left in the boot by the previous owner. The bag contained the HT removal tool for the Corrado and the locking wheel nuts but also some documents for a VW Polo, so, this could be from a Polo, in which case I'll throw it. It has VAG part number 867 512 135 on it and the underside has a foam insert. I did a google search but found nothing conclusive  Cheers Dawn
Wesleyvr6 10 Posted November 16, 2014 Hi Dawn, it's a Polo rear strut cover.
science 0 Posted November 16, 2014 I think it's the top cover for the rear suspension strut from the polo. Edit: As Wes said.
DPS 10 Posted November 16, 2014 Ahhh okay, that means I can throw it away then without fear :-) Thank you! My ashtray has some smaller random pieces in it too, they look like trim fasteners etc, at least I know the car isn't relying on them to work... Unless of course they would actually solve all my problems :D
