TRodge Yo 10 Posted March 2, 2015 Hey everyone hope you all can help me out... I'm looking at a Corrado this guy is selling, its a 1991 G60 supercharged, and he says the top part of the motor was disassembled by a previous owner. He is asking 1800$. Now with that said, the body is super clean no rust spots on it, and no missing paint. It has aftermarket rims, tires, rotors brakes, racing seats, gauges, roll cage, racing harness, and intercooler. It looks so beautiful and it seems like a great deal to me but I wanted to know what you all thought. And if it is a good deal should I rebuild the G60 or do an engine swap? and if I do swap engines what shall i swap to Thanks in Advance hope you all can help me :/
Jim 2 Posted March 2, 2015 Welcome aboard! This is primarily a United Kingdom based Corrado Forum so it's hard for us to know really what US prices are like for the Corrado right now.. but to me that seems like a great price for a Corrado and a good little project to work on. Engine wise you could switch it over to a 1.8 Turbo or similar from a newer VW, or perhaps rebuild the 1.8 G60 motor and turbo that and ditch the G-charger?
