Gearbox oil leak problem Corrado turbo coversion

Nee to this site and bought my vw corrado a week ago,

Its got a engine conversion , 1.8 20vt AUQ Lump.

Running a MK3 Golf TDi Gearbox and driveshafts.

 

the grarbox is leaking from the top as have had it looked at by the garage ,

 

is this a common fault or is it something easnt done properly in the conversion ow what?

 

dont know much about the car just need some help/advice
