ABF Carb oil breather location

Ok, so have done a carburettor conversion on a abf in my rado. Been havin trouble with the oil breather as in location, angle in which causes oil to pore out and also water getting in. Anyone suggest best place to position?

 

Currently placed on the left off shoot of the front pipe on the block
