Finch 10 Posted May 29, 2015 Hi just picked up my first vw corrado it's a 1990 1.8 16v on the drive back everything seemed fine but near home I put my foot down looked in the rear view mirror and there was lots white smoke got the car home and there was oil underneath the car so pop the bonnet to find it was coming from the air box so popped the top off and the air box is full of oil car also seems to be running hot any ideas where the oil is coming from or how it's got there thanks
davidwort 0 Posted May 30, 2015 sounds like a head gasket and the escaping gas is pressurising the oil and forcing it up the breather into the airbox
