How to Fit Heated Seat Loom

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

A while back, I purchased a Leather Interior of G60 Matt and a loom and switch from another member here. Just wondered, any instructions on how to fit the wires in. Mainly on power / relays etc?

All the Best,

Hi, I may be able to assist you.

This layout is like looking into the car through the windscreen.

The relay assembly screws onto the metal structure behind the passenger side rear door card.

The harness then follows the other wiring along the floor by the passenger door.

The wiring branches off to the seats at the T-junction - follow the other harnesses over the tunnel to the drivers seat.

The main harness continues along the floor and up past the ABS module to behind the dash (where the passenger door harness connects to the car harnesses).

I think the second harness follows the other harnesses along the top of the dashboard.

Wiring connections:

The harness is grounded to the stud by the relay assembly (Brown wire with ring connector).

Power comes in via the Black wire (Green plug) which plugs into the grey strip/block ( TV5 ) above the fusebox.

Illumination for the switch is supplied through the Grey/Blue wire (Grey plug) which plugs into the grey strip/block ( TV8 ) above the fusebox.

Heated seats switch goes in the bottom location, next to the instrument binnacle.

Hope this helps!
