Jimps 10 Posted October 1, 2015 Hi, I'm new and this my first post so I apologise in advance if my questions are dumb! :) I've just purchased a 2.0 16v 9a engine and gearbox freshly pulled from a corrado. I'm having trouble finding parts for the 9a. I know the 9a is more or less just a bigger bore version of the 1.8 16v kr, so are all parts i.e. starter motor, alternator, water pump, valves, seals etc interchangeable from the Kr to the 9a? I'm guessing there are a few things that are 9a specific like gaskets and distributor? Could someone please point me in the right direction? Some folks on here have access to the VW parts catalogue and should be able to confirm, if you want to list up some parts you specifically need, we can try and confirm for you?
