MikeyGordon 10 Posted October 12, 2015 As some of you may know, I sold my Corrado 20vt a few months back, and I am getting serious urges for one again. One has popped up near me for a not bad price. It's an early 1.8 16v in red with black cloth interior. Low mileage, circa 68k, 3 owners, it's been off the road for a year and a half so would need a wee bit of recommissioning. Would this model be worth keeping standard if I was to purchase? Or 20vt it.
Jim 2 Posted October 12, 2015 Original low mileage 16v's are getting harder and harder to come by. Honestly if your intention is to rip out the engine and stick in something else, you might as well buy something a bit more leggy - personally think it'd be a shame to hack apart an original low mileage valver! MikeyGordon 10 Posted October 12, 2015 I would prefer to keep it bog standard to be honest. I've been looking for a cheap 16v mk2 golf to keep standard but they are creeping up in price a bit and I can see the Corrado doing the same hopefully. It would be a shame to rip apart a low mileage clean example so I will have a good look around it and decide from there. Thanks for your input man.
